Kristi assists small businesses and sales managers in strategically developing business processes and automating winning sales techniques through the use of ACT! She has been an ACT! Certified Consultant since January, 2003. She has assisted over 200 businesses and organizations in getting more out of using ACT!
Prior to founding Kristi Smith Consulting in October, 2002, Kristi worked in PC support for Discover Card. Her primary duties were technical support analysis and escalation. She supported Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Windows, Lotus Notes, Crystal Reports and a variety of internally developed applications. She also served as a liaison between support technicians and Discover employees – often joking that her job was to translate “Geek” to English.
Kristi has also served in the nonprofit sector, where she worked in fundraising for Paul Newman’s Buffalo Prairie Gang Camp in Peoria, IL, for City Year Chicago, and for Ayuda, Inc. in Washington DC.
Education
Kristi is a graduate of the University of Arizona, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Latin American Studies. Kristi also possesses a Master of Arts in Government (specializing in Mexican Politics) from New Mexico State University.
