How do I know which version of ACT! is right for my business?
As part of the introductory process, Kristi Smith Consulting will conduct a design meeting with you and your team members to determine which ACT! version is right for you, based on the ACT! features your business needs to succeed.
I’m concerned about security – can I control which contacts can be seen, or how my staff uses the ACT! database?
Yes. We have a number of security features – user permissions, private or limited access to certain contacts, hidden fields, permitting/restricting exporting of sensitive information.
I would like all of my employees to use the ACT! database, but they travel often, can we still share the same ACT! database?
Absolutely. We can help determine the best way for your staff to access ACT! – through ACT! Premium for Web, synchronizing copies of the database to their laptops, and/or installing ACT! on Terminal Services or Citrix.
Will all of my data from my prior version of ACT! convert into the latest version?
One of our favorite mottos is “life is too short for retyping.” All of your data will be transferred in the upgrade process. This is a great time, however, to schedule a strategic review of your database (link to strategic review page) so we can help identify how new features might enhance your current fields.
Will my existing add-on products work with the latest version of ACT!?
